[MUSIC PLAYING] The light weight movement was taking place and really gaining some steam. And we looked at it and we noticed that everybody was mimicking the human anatomy. And ultimately, I think we came back to kind of question that was, was that the only solution? And ultimately, was it the best solution?
When you're mimicking you're just looking at one species, the human. But when you're evolving, you start to look at other species as well in the sense of, a tortoise offers more protection, a gecko offers better traction, carbon legs offer more energy return. Just to name a few examples.
So when you start to take all these elements and you mash them up all together, you hybrid them all together, something else happens where you create a whole other process and a whole other outcome. And that's what lead to "evanatomy," a hybridization of all species for maximum performance.
I mean, the shoe is really inspired by our apparel DNA, and in some ways really built like our apparel, which makes it quite unique. You have a single layer in the forefoot, which is our apparel HeatGear material. It's all about moisture wicking and lightweight.
From there we worked in our MPZ technology, which stands for Modular Protection Zones. We worked it into the toe, we worked it into the tongue. And what you see is a seamless integration of basically a forefoot built like a piece of apparel, but still offering you all the feature benefits in a new way of what a shoe needs.
Well, under foot we have our Micro G midsole, which is unique to Under Armor, combined with a blown rubber forefoot for maximum cushion.
